About the Match

The Kansas Coyote Chaos is an exhilarating long-range steel target shooting match that challenges shooters to engage coyote-shaped silhouettes from 200 to 1,000+ yards (sometimes stretching to 1,400+). Hosted by Twin Peaks Rifle Club in Medicine Lodge, Kansas, and run by Kansas Arms Supply, the event emphasizes precision, wind reading, and time management in a relaxed, safety-focused atmosphere.

Competitors choose between two classes: Open (custom or heavier rifles over 14 lbs, including PRS and F-Class setups) or Factory (stock production rifles under 14 lbs). Limited to .30 caliber or smaller with no steel-core ammo, the match welcomes shooters of all skill levels.
